With infinite fascination for her chosen medium glass, Hanne's work explores its versatile nature; its optics, transparency and fragility. By working both with the glass both in its soft flowing state and in its cold hard state, she create forms and shapes that emphasise the purity and honesty of the material.Taking root in Scandinavian design, her work demonstrates simplicity through subtle shape and colour choices, ranging from contemporary decorative pieces to functional tableware. Being both a designer and maker she discovers and develops new techniques and approaches through hands on experience, constantly fuelling her understanding for the material.
